Hi!

I’m a watercolor artist from southern California who has been enchanted by living in Devon, heart of the green West Country of England.

 Since graduating with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, I have worked as a freelance illustrator; creating images for advertising, packaging, publishing and design firms. Clients have included Kodiak Cakes, Publix Super Markets, Robert Mondavi, Coldwell Banker International, Condé Nast, Ortho Pharmaceutical, Packaging Arts, and J.M.Smucker.

I also enjoy painting for exhibition and have work in both public and private collections. Watercolor has always been my favorite medium. I find its qualities to be endlessly engaging and love the combination of loose washes and deliberate brush work. Putting paint to paper is always a thrill.

I love walking in nature, wandering in gardens, (England has many!) and spending time in the kitchen. More recently I have been exploring and experimenting with patterns and have started to create watercolor motifs for pattern designs.
